First off I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who have left comments, PM's, e-mails etc on my new Design Team venture. This is all so exciting for me and I am *thrilled* to finally be able to share it w/ y'all!!!
So here's the three cards I made w/ the new Paper Tray set:
STAMPS: Paper Tray. CS: Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery (Stampin’ Up!), Patterned Paper is MOD by Autumn Leaves. INK: Elegant Eggplant, Regal Rose, Certainly Celery, and Bashful Blue Craft Inks (all SU!). ACCESSORIES: Stampin’ Up! Slit Punch, Twill Tape.
.
The color combo for this card was inspired by this fab patterned paper that I picked up at my local scrapbook store not too long ago - it's MOD by Autumn Leaves (#37086 Blackbird Stripe).
.
I stamped the 'smile' on the twill tape using Stampin' Up! craft ink, then heat set it to dry. It was so easy to get the word straight on every time as you can see right through it - a nice perk of using clear stamps.
.
Then to finish off the card I added a strip of Certainly Celery CS that I scalloped using the SU! Slit Punch, stamped the sentiment and the flower and that was it!
.
STAMPS: Paper Tray, Leprechaun Hat by GinaK Designs. CS: Whisper White, Basic Black, Glorious Green (all Stampin’ Up!). INK: Basic Black, Glorious Green, Certainly Celery (all SU!). ACCESSORIES: Circle Punches, Dimensionals, Sponge Dauber, Various Ribbons, Fiskars Wave Scissors, Prismacolor Pencils. . For this card I stamped the 'Good luck' in black first, then I masked it off using a sticky note that I cut to size. I then stamped the words over and over again all over the strip of white CS. Before removing the mask I sponged on some certainly celery ink to highlight the "main sentiment" and make it stand out more. . The "dots" on the top of the card are one of the flower centers in the Paper Tray set. . The leprechaun Hat stamp is by GinaK Designs. I colored it using Prismacolor Pencil crayons, then punched it out w/ my SU! circle punch and sponged the edges. . STAMPS: Paper Tray. CS: Kraft, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Bashful Blue (all Stampin’ Up!), patterned paper by Chatterbox. INK: Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Brocade Blue, Bashful Blue, Not Quite Navy, Chocolate Chip Craft Inks (all SU!). ACCESSORIES: Cutter Kit, Paper Pierce, White Gel Pen, Round Tab Punch, Bazzil Brad, Word Window Punch, 1/8” handheld Punch, May Arts Gingham Ribbon, Fiskars Small Scalloped Scissors. . I used craft ink again for this card - and the color combo was inspired by this Chatterbox patterned paper. . All the flowers were stamped first, then I stamped the "stem" (the long line in the Paper Tray set) and to make leaves I inked up only half of the solid flower center and stamped that - the stems just looked to bare w/out any leaves! . I of course HAD to use my new Round Tab Punch from SU! (it's in the Spring Mini - available March 1st), and I stamped the flower in Whisper White Craft Ink, then used a Bazzil Hershey Mini Brad for the center and to adhere the tab. . The sentiment was stamped then trimmed to 3/8ths of an inch and I used my Word Window Punch to round the corner, adhered it then punched the hole to thread through the ribbon.
