See my first post on this subject here.
So here's a couple more cards using the Spring Flowers Designer Series paper from Stampin' Up!:
(all supplies from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted) STAMPS: Happy Harmony, Cheesecloth. CS: Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Mellow Moss, So Saffron, Spring Flowers DS Paper. INK: So Saffron, Cameo Coral (Classic and Craft), Mellow Moss, Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip. ACCESSORIES: On Board Accents, Rich Regals Brads, Chocolate Grosgrain Ribbon, Sponge Daubers.
I used markers on the flower image to get it multi-colored before stamping -you just start w/ the lightest color and then add the other (darker) colors before you press the stamp to the CS.
The chipboard "brackets" were cut from a chipboard piece in the On Board Accents® set then inked w/ Cameo Coral craft ink (heat set to dry) then adhered to the card w/ Always Artichoke brads.
(all supplies from Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted) STAMPS: Trees Three. CS: Whisper White, Cameo Coral, Always Artichoke, Spring Flowers DS Paper. INK: Close to Cocoa, Always Artichoke, Cameo Coral Craft ink, Whisper White Craft Ink. ACCESSORIES: Sponge Daubers, Rich Regals Brads, Ticket Corner punch, Olive Narrow Organdy Ribbon.
This was a really quick and simple card. I stamped the tree trunks in Close to Cocoa Classic ink, then stamped the leaves in Always Artichoke. To make the tree "fuller" I used a sponge dauber and the AA ink and lightly sponged on the color. I then stamped the flowers using Cameo Coral CRAFT ink (Craft (aka pigment) ink sits on top of the paper whereas Classic (aka dye) ink absorbs *into* the paper) to make the flowers stand out more.
I used Whisper White Craft Ink on the edges of the Cameo Coral CS to lighten it up a bit as it's too dark to properly match w/ the Spring Flowers Designer Series® paper.
