I am WAY behind on my personal cards - this one is for a friend's daughter's first birthday (that was LAST week - ugh I am horrible - I can't believe I forgot to get a card sent out in time). When I finished it and looked at it all I could think of was how much it looks like a SweetMissDaisy card! Hers would be way better tho - my coloring is garbage compared to her talent!!
I stamped the little girl w/ Basic Black on Whisper White CS and colored her in w/ Prismacolors and Gamsol. Her sash, crown and shoes were colored in w/ a gold pencil then I added glitter w/ a Gelly Roll Stardust Pen (got it from StarLitStudio). I then doodled a frame around her.
For the sentiment I stamped 'Birthday' from the set onto Whisper White then punched it out w/ SU's small oval punch - then I stamped 'Happy' above it using my Karen Foster mini Snap Stamps.
I dry embossed the bottom two thirds or so of the Mellow Moss CS (kinda hard to see - I just did random dots using the Seeing Spots Template).
The brads are from Making Memories. The ribbon is also from StarLitStudio (I used the last of it on this card!! Thankfully I have a 50 yard roll on it's way here *rubs hands together in anticipation*) ROFL!!!
The little bit of patterned paper behind the main image is rob & bob - I got a slab of it at Michale's (40% off of course).
