Isn't he just the sweetest little thing???
I was eying this set on e-bay (*gasp*) as it's retired and now goes for pretty high $$. I *never* thought I'd get it so I told Tim to watch it for me as he was using the computer as the auction was ending and I was busy. I never gave it another thought as I was sure it went for MUCH more than I was willing to pay! Well about a week ago it showed up in the mail! Tim got it for me for my birthday!! *happy dance*
This is the first chance I've had to ink it up and I *HAD* to use this little guy - I think he's the cutest stamp in the whole set!
I stamped him w/ Basic Black on Whisper White CS and colored him in w/ Prismacolors and Gamsol. I then sponged the edges w/ Creamy Caramel ink.
I cute a piece of the violet Halloween Night paper and adhered it to the back of a clear button (from SU) using Crystal Effects and once it was dry I trimmed it close and tied on a little black hemp. ETA - I just applied a dot of the CE to the paper and pressed the button firmly to the paper and wiped away the excess around the edges.
The rest of the card was simple to put together and only took a few minutes. The color combo wasn't what I was originally going for but in the end it turned out alright!!
And just for fun I'll draw a name from the comments on *THIS* post on Wednesday and mail that person this card!! :o)
