I am so excited right now!! MissyB Designs has designed a set especially for Alexa!
Alexa is the 6 year old daughter of Lauren (mytime on Splitcoast) and was diagnosed w/ leukemia on Feb 7th of this year. On top of that she was born w/ Down Syndrome and had heart surgery at 3 weeks of age. She has gone through numerous tests and treatments and has come through them all like a little trooper!!
All the proceeds from Alexa's set will go towards the Turtle Girl Designs group - a non-profit organization that creates hand stamped cards to sell w/ all the profits going towards children's cancer research. Lauren was asked to join the Turtle Group as a designer and accepted - she does beautiful work and I can't wait to see the designs she comes up with!!
