Yet another haul video today - BUT stay tuned (AKA keep checkin' in) as I have a couple of product review videos that I will hopefully have uploaded today too.
I enjoy sharing my hauls with you guys - my hubby isn't someone I can gush to when I get a new pack of patterned paper (LOL but then he has a hard time with me being rather bored when he's all excited about new fishing lures - so really......) so it's kind of fun to share them with other people who "get" it!
So I went on a bit of a bender a couple weeks ago - a patterned paper bender that is. LOL!
Since I don't drink, don't smoke and own enough ribbon to last me the rest of my life (and beyond) I suppose my newest "habit" is patterned paper. There's just too many collections and variety to choose from!
So like I said in my previous post the weather here was pretty horrible for most of the day. But since I was stuck at work and am less than a block from the Post Office I ran down there and got my parcel from ATS that had arrived - yay!
And of course I then kicked myself that I hadn't brought my camera to work with me as I had time to film the haul video earlier but since I didn't it had to wait 'till we got home and fed the kids supper.
Excuse my horrible hair in this video. I didn't feel like making it "pretty" this morning since I'm just hanging out around the house - but it always looks way worse on camera for some reason LOL.
Anywho it was supposed to be a "quick" video but I blab on a bit about all sorts of things ;)

So yeah for those of you that can make it it would be awesome to meet you! Just come up and say hi - I don't put myself out there and am a total introvert so it's really weird for me that people actually *want* to meet me LOL!!
It's so much easier to be "myself" behind a computer screen or in front of a camera (and if you've been watching my videos since the beginning you'll know how hard it was to even start doing the videos - it took a LONG time for me to get used to seeing my face and hearing my voice! Now I don't even have to think about it) so meeting people in "real life" is odd sometimes. I don't run in to other "stamping enthusiasts" very often - living in a small farming community means there just aren't that many people to begin with - and I can't even count the number of weird looks I've had from people when they hear that I "make cards" like - a LOT. *grin*
Hey all. First off I apologise if I sound "bored" or just "off" in this video. I had spent a very long day in the city getting groceries (the power went out for a good 1/2 hour while I was in Costco - THAT was fun *sarcasm*) and supplies for the salon and whatnot. By the time I got home I was beat, and I picked up the mail on the way and my parcel from ATS had arrived :o)
I quickly filmed the haul video as soon as I got home as I like to get those done ASAP so I can put things away and figure out what goes where etc etc etc.
So yeah - I'm feeling MUCH better now after a good nights sleep LOL and of course I have to head in to work soon right away so I wanted to get this done and up.
OK here's the second haul video. I wanted to get a few more "Valentine" products as I ordered mainly winter themed things from ATS and wanted some stuff I could actually use right away and not have to save till winter!
I had a very busy Christmas and New Years - I hope you all had a wonderful holiday and are raring to go for 2012 - I know I am!
This is the start of (hopefully) SEVERAL posts. I mentioned on my Facebook page that I just received two online orders today so I've got two little haul videos to share and then I plan on jumping in to my Valentine Cardmaking series.
So to start it off here is the first haul video - this one from All That Scraps.
I'm also posting here what I have set as an annotation (aka note) at the beginning of the video in case people don't see them (you can turn off seeing them on YouTube videos b/c sometimes they can be really annoying).
FYI as always there is a chance that the products I show in my haul and cardmaking videos are no longer available at the retailer I bought them from or they were limited edition. If the links I provide in the description blox don't work or the item(s) is/are sold out you can google them and/or probably find them through your favorite online/local retailer. I just wanted to add this as I know it can be frustrating to see something you like and then it's impossible to get! So I hope this helps.
And I FINALLY have started figuring out InLinkz - this is my first actual attempt at putting it here in the blog so let's hope it works!
I had a fun day with my hubby in the city yesterday. The roads were horrible (we got a bunch of snow overnight and it snowed most of the day yesterday) but we made it in, got our shopping done, saw some friends and family and had a good day!
I got a couple of things from Michaels since we were near there at one point, and then today when I got the mail my last order from ATS had arrived:

I've been having issues lately with uploading my videos to my YouTube channel. I've finally come to figure out that it prolly has to do with things needing to be upgraded (I use a MacBook now after having used PC's my entire life - so figuring everything out on a Mac has been interesting) - so I'm working on that!!
Anywho I finally figured out how to get around some of the issues I've been having and can get to sharing videos more often *here's hoping*!
OY. I had this video uploaded yesterday afternoon but there was a glitch on YouTube and I couldn't get in to finish editing or post it here or anything. But that's all done now so here it is.
And yeah like it says in the beginning of the vid this order was made in early April and filmed when it arrived *hangs head in shame*. I can't believe how far behind I am in EVERYTHING. It's just nuts.
But at least I'm trying to get caught up - that counts right??
I have another haul video to share with y'all - and for once it's funny b/c I've already been USING and posting projects with some of the items I purchased - which is a GOOD thing - rather than let it just sit on my desk (floor, piled up on a shelf....) and look pretty I've been breakin' open all the schtuff I've been getting lately and playing with it.
