Prairie Paper & Ink

Relax....

This was the second card I made the other day when I actually felt up to stamping. I pulled out my new Yogabella and sentiment from A Muse and had this card made in no time.

I used this Piggy Tales patterned paper for my color inspiration (the green paper is the solid side of one of the patterned papers) and colored in the Bella with Copic markers.

The glittered embellishments are Bella Dots - I am really loving these things! They're a fun way to dress up a card (and I just use little dots of Mono Multi to attach them).

The scalloped edge was made with Fiskars cloud scissors, and the flowers are Prima Sprites.

New Embellies

OK my camera batteries are charged, this pic was taken and edited and I'm good to go!

I recently got a few new embellies from Stamping Bella - she calls them Bella's Dots. I used 2 large light plum ones for my flower centers - just attached them with a mini glue dot. I'm really liking these new embellies - they're lightweight and since you use glue or glue dots to attach them there's no "backs" to hide ----- not to mention they come in like a bazillion colors AND different finishes (glitter, marble etc)!! It's going to take me forever to collect them all *wink*

The other embellies are fuchsia bonbons - I used a dot of glue on the back of each one to attach them.

The bella is billboardabella - I colored her in with Copic markers, then used Stickles on the billboard and her hair-band. I cut her out with my paper cutter - using scissors to cut around the billboard.

The colored CS is Prism, flowers are Bazzill, patterned paper is Me & My Big Ideas, and ribbon is May Arts.

Now I need to figure out what to make me and the girls for supper - it's so hot and muggy here and I don't have A/C so I try to avoid turning on the oven at all cost!!

Happy Birthday To You Bella

Here's another fun Bella card I made not too long ago.

I used partygirlabella, colored her in with Copic markers, then cut her out with my paper cutter and used scissors to trim around her balloons and hat.

I highlighted some of the balloons and the cupcake and hat with Stickles glitter glue.

The sentiment is from A Muse - stamped onto vellum and attached with bazzill brads.

SO busy - but here's a card!!

Sorry for the lack of posts these past couple of days - I had a super-busy weekend and this week is looking to be the same!

My stamping-mojo is STILL AWOL - I really don't know what I am gonna do - Papertrey's new stamp release is this weekend (I have my fingers crossed my stuff gets here in time!! ACK!) so I NEED to get my mojo back and samples cranked out......I *think* tho that I shouldn't have too much trouble as I just got the newest CCDesigns stamps in the mail and they are so cute!! So I'll be pulling out those today and we'll see what happens!

Anywho here is another Bella card I made last month:

I used curlysurpriseabella, colored her in with copic markers, and the sentiment is from A Muse - I colored in the letters then went over them with Stickles.

The paper was from my stash (I *think* it's from Me & My Big Ideas?), the ribbon was random scraps I had sitting here that I sewed on with my sewing machine.

I finished off the card with a few Primas and that was it!

Off to do some more laundry........

Gift For You Bella

I still haven't stamped anything new - I am having a really hard time getting my mojo back!! :o(

Thankfully I have some cards I made a while ago and saved for occasions just like this!

This cards uses ipodabella and a sentiment from A Muse (thought it would be a perfect card to give someone with an iTunes card or music store gift card inside...)

I used Copic markers to color in the bella.

The patterned paper is from Michales (by Me & My Big Ideas), ribbon is May Arts, Prima Flowers with bauble centers, and a Bazzill flower with a Making Memories brad.

OK now I'm off to see where my mojo went - here's hoping I find it quickly!

I seem to stamp in spurts. I made this Bella card a couple of weeks ago (or was it longer than that? LOL I can't even remember!) along with a few other bella cards (a couple of which I already posted) and haven't touched my bellas since! *sad face* Ah well, when I get caught up on some other stuff I'll be sitting down and making a bunch more bella cards.......

Anywho this card features presentahbella - I stamped her onto white cardstock then colored her in with Copic markers. I then used Stickles here and there on the image for some bling.

The sentiment is from A Muse (yet again too perfect for this stamp!).

The diecut CS is KI Memories Lace CS - I am REALLY liking this stuff - it just adds an extra WOW to a card (and you can see I put a bit of it on the inside of the card to dress it up a bit).

I finished off the card with some Papertrey Lemon Tart grosgrain ribbon, a mondo Prima Flower (the green plastic center I had in my stash - not sure who makes it but I do remember that Lauren sent it to me along with a bunch of other goodies!) attached with a white brad and that's it!

Dreams Come True

I hope everyone had a great weekend and a happy Mother's Day! Those flowers in the picture below are actually on a little plant I bought for myself for my Mother's Day gift lol - aren't they pretty?

I am absolutely BURIED right now under cardstock and stamps and ribbon (I know y'all feel SO sorry for me *wink*) trying to get all my samples done for Papertrey's release on Thursday (stay tuned for midnight when my sneak peek post goes live) but I wanted to hop on here real quick and share another Bella card I made recently.

This card uses imeldabella - and the sentiment from MFT's Essential Sentiments was too perfect for it.

I used Copic markers to color in the image then added some stickles to a couple of the boxes.

The patterned paper is from a slab I got at Michael's, ribbon is from RABOM, and I added a Prima Sprite and Bazzill Bitty Blossom with a Making Memories Pebble Brad.

The baubles are from Stamping Bella and I've been asked how I attach them - I used to use mini glue dots but now I just use a tiny dot of my Tombow Mono Multi and it works like a charm!

Cupcake Bella

I love this cupcakeabella from Stamping Bella - she's so darn cute!

I stamped her onto white cardstock then used my Copic markers to color her in, and added Fruit Punch stickles to the icing of the cupcake. It's rather hard to tell but I also added a little rain dot to the cherry so that it's all dimensional and shiny.

The sentiment is from A Muse (too perfect for this Bella of course!).

That paper on the card base is Lace cardstock by KI Memories - this stuff is SO cool! I just cut a piece from the sheet and used a few dots of glue here and there to adhere it to the card base and that was it!

I finished off the card with a couple of Prima flowers (attached with a Making Memories brad), and some ribbon from my stash.

Does anyone else crave a cupcake slathered in pink icing??????

I got you babe

Hello everyone!

I was going through my computer files yesterday and came across this picture and realized I'd never shared it! I made this card MONTHS ago!!

It uses retailfellabella and I colored them in with Copic markers, then masked them (tutorial here) and stamped A Muse's Skinny Oval bl (the biggest one) in Garden Green (Stampin' Up!) ink for the ground.

The patterned paper is Stampin' Up!'s Fall Flowers collection - I used my Janome Sew Mini sewing machine to zig zag stitch around the edges.

The sentiment is also from A Muse.

The flower is a fabric one by Bazzill - it was originally white so I used a Copic marker to color it orange.

The card measured 5.5" square - so I made a matching envelope for it out of some of the same patterned paper.

Well the dishes are done, the girls were fed and are now in bed, the laundry is done AND folded and most of it's put away (I am REALLY proud of myself for that - I usually put off folding b/c I HATE it with a passion!!) and now I just need to pick out something to wear for tomorrow and make sure I don't forget anything and MUST remember to set the alarm b/c I have to be up super-early b/c it's an hour and a half drive.......

Anywho here's the card I promised earlier:

Partygirlabella was stamped onto Papertrey white CS then colored in with Copic Markers.

You prolly can't tell but the heart balloons were covered in Star Dust Stickles.

I masked the Bella (tutorial here) and stamped A Muse's Small oval for "ground" - the sentiment is also from A Muse.

The ribbon is May Arts, the flowers are Prima, and the patterned paper is from a K&Co slab I got at Costco!
