Hey everyone! I'm the hostess this week for the Color Throwdown Challenge!
You can check out the challenge HERE <-------click! to see what the rest of the team created with these colors and play along if you'd like!
Here's what I made with these colors:
I pulled out Simon Says Stamp's Beautiful Flowers 2 stamp set (I used it for last week's challenge too lol) because I've been itching to ink up this huge stamp in the set.
I stamped it onto Distress watercolor paper with VersaFine Onyx Black Ink and watercolored it with Distress inks and a water brush. I then added some more color with Copics (RV02, R22, YR23, RV29, YG17) - which normally I WOULDN'T do when an image is stamped with VersaFine (because VF smears with Copics). However I was rather careful plus not doing any real blending with the Copics so I didn't have any smearing issues - I just don't recommend using VersaFine Onyx Black ink if you're planning on colouring with alcohol-based markers.
I finished off the inside of the card by stamping the image with Spun Sugar Distress Ink then stamping one of the sentiments from the set and that was it!
