Hello everyone!! I'm SO excited to be hopping along with a bunch of other fabulous designers to celebrate Pretty Pink Posh's latest release! You can check out all the new goodies HERE <-----click!
If you didn't get here from the Pretty Pink Posh blog at the start of the hop no worries - I'll have links to everyone later on in the post! Also make sure to read the whole post through as there's GIVEAWAY info at the end as well!
I had the hardest time deciding what to make for my post - so many cute images to choose from. I decided I needed to ink up the new Summer Friends set and make a couple cards with it right off the bat though as PPP's little people images just get me:
I stamped all the images from the Summer Friends stamp set onto Neenah 80lb Solar White card stock with Hero Arts Intense Black ink and coloured them all in with (a bunch of) Copics.
I used the coordinating die set to die cut all the images, and also stamped, coloured and die cut the sun from the Fly a Kite set. I also added little dots and highlights and whatnot with my white gel pen. It's amazing how much that adds!
I used Bristol Smooth card stock to create my card bases, and used the largest PPP Stitched Diamonds die - turning it sideways before die cutting the front of each card.
After doing that I sponged on 3 different colors of Distress Oxide ink to create my "beach scene" and sprayed it with water to get the fun splatter look.
I adhered the die cut piece to the inside of the card, and then glued on a couple of the die cut images to finish off the scenes I created before stamping the sentiments and (of course) adding some sequins from the new Sunny Days Sequins mix.

I get asked a lot about where to purchase the supplies I use in my videos and blog posts. I list all the supplies I use at the end of my posts (below) or in the description box directly below my video on YouTube. If the product images have sets of letters below the image it means there's more than one place it can be purchased. SSS = Simon Says Stamp, AZ = Amazon, MFT = My Favourite Things, SnS = Scrap N Stamp (Canada) etc. Compensated affiliate links used when possible at no extra cost to you. Affiliate linking is what keeps my blog and YouTube channel up and running and enables me to work from home with my kids! I appreciate your support more than words can say!
I occasionally receive product for free from stores/manufacturer with no obligation on my part to use/review - I only use and share what I personally love. Everything else I purchase myself! Now for the GIVEAWAY info! Pretty Pink Posh is giving away FOUR $25 gift certificates to the PPP store - 2 from random commenters on today's blog hop posts and 2 from tomorrows! The more comments you leave on the blogs linked above and the ones for tomorrow's hope the more chances you have to win! Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 7/18/2017.
