Ahhhh Mondays - definitely not my favourite day of the week, but I finally got this video edited and uploaded to share here with y'all and this Monday is almost over so I'll consider it a win.
I made a HUGE mess of my desk and made 4 cards instead of the one I was planning on making - I had a lot of fun making them though and finally got the idea from the back of my head onto paper:
I FINALLY got to use the SSS Flamingos background stamp, and the Doodlebug Flock of Flamingos Washi Tape that I'd ordered weeks ago and have been sitting here ever so patiently waiting to be played with - hence the 4 cards LOL!
I embossed the background 4 times onto Canson XL watercolour card stock with detail white embossing powder, then used Distress inks to create the watercolored backgrounds.
I used the SSS Summertime Animals stamp set and Warm Weather Animals dies for all the main images - heat embossing them as well and watercoloring them with the same Distress inks.
I created the details on the bear's eyes and the flamingos eyes and beaks with my Nuvo Ebony Black Crystal Drops.
Aaaannnddd I might have gone a little crazy with the sequins but it was fun!! ;)
I kept the insides more on the simple side since I'd done so much for the card fronts and called it a day (or 2 days - I worked on these in between "real" life so they were definitely not made in one sitting!).
