I've got 2 cards to share with you guys today - sorry no video. When I was making these cards I had a friend over and my kids had a bunch of friends over and it was complete chaos here LOL! But in the end I got these made:
This new You Were Meant to Sparkle stamp set is FUN! And of course there's a new set of Sequins Die-namics. So if you've been on the fence with the whole sequins craze you can get the Die-namics and just make your own in any color you want - and if you cut them from card stock they're flat too! I haven't tried cutting them from acetate/transparencies yet to make "real" sequins - but that would be cool too :).
The word SPARKLE almost looks blotchy in the pics but it's not - I added Glitter Glaze to the letters to make them sparkly *wink*. And I sprayed my die cut sequins with Sheer Shimmer Mist to make them all shimmery too.
And then of course I had to finish off the inside of the card so I stamped several sequins and adhered the left over ones that I had die cut and shimmered up.
Here's the second card I made:
Just a one layer card with LOTS of sequins stamped on it all cascading down.
It's nearly impossible to capture on camera (if I remember I'll upload a video on my instagram account to show it sparkling in the light!) but the word SPARKLE and some of the sequins are embossed with a hologram glitter embossing powder I had in my stash.
I stamped the SPARKLE in Black Licorice hybrid ink, then inked up the stamp with Brilliance Platinum Planet ink (found it in a drawer and it was still juicy!) and stamped that over then embossed it. I then stamped a few sequins with the same ink and embossed them as well. It's not a very solid embossing powder but enough of the glitter caught that it just sparkles.
Finally I finished off the inside by stamping more of the sequins and that was it!
