Today we are blog hopping to celebrate Christine’s birthday! Christine is our wonderful illustrator of C.C.Designs and co-owner of All That Scraps. Happy Birthday girl!!
The hop starts at the All That Scraps blog <---------- click! If you have arrived from Leanne’s awesome blog, you are in the right place. We are so glad you hopped over to see Christine’s birthday eye candy.
I've known Christine for years now - back when I first started ordering from All That Scraps it was just a small online store being run out of Christine's basement. We got to know each other and decided to start working together - her starting to design stamps and me starting up a design team to show off her work. It's amazing what can be done over the internet! Me being in Canada I have not yet met Christine "in real life" but I continue to work with her and watch All That Scraps grow into what it is now - and it's still growing! I have really enjoyed working with Christine all these years and am SO pleased to be able to take part in this "Birthday Hop"!
I chose some of the new CCDesigns stamps to make Christine's card. Her new Laugh Lines images are still some of my favorites of the images she's created.
I used Bee Laugh and colored her in with Copic markers. And of course I couldn't resist adding some shimmer to her with my Copic Spicas.
The little felt flower border was created with the MFT DieNamics Flower border die (I wanted to use the CCD Daisy chain but it hasn't arrived yet) and a piece of pumpkin-colored wool felt - cut like a dream with my CuttleBug!
I used a TON of brads to secure it to the card - one for every flower. Normally I am a little more stingy with embellishments but when I'm making a card for someone special I go all out LOL.
I also used the new Laugh Lines Postage stamp and paper pieced the center and the bee, coloring the bee and the outside border with Copics. I trimmed it out with scissors then used a 1/16" hole punch to make all the indents - faster than having to trim that all out with scissors.
The large Birthday Wishes is from my Great Greetings set that I stamped with Brilliance ink.
All the patterned paper is from the MME Mabel 6x6 pack.
On the inside of the card I used more of the Mabel patterned papers. I had a second paper-pieced Postage Stamp image that I adhered as well as the co-ordinating sentiment from the Great Greetings set.
This is the last stop on the hop! If you missed any of the other girl's posts be sure to start back at the All That Scraps blog and click through! You can also see all their posts here:
