Sneak Peek - AmyR Stamps Wedding and Love Sentiments Sets
**The winner had been posted HERE <-----click! Thanks!**
OK this is going to be a LONG post!! I've been posting every day this week so scroll down past this one to see the previous posts!
I am really excited to be releasing TWO sets this month - those along with a set from Diane and some more CC Designs stamps will be available at AllThatScraps on January 5th!
The first sample I'm going to show is using my new Wedding set. It follows along with the Amy's Boutique and Boutique Sentiments, Wardrobe and Wardrobe Sentiments set - all these sets are interchangeable and can "work together" as they're all done in the same fonts and I drew all the clothes so that they're sized similarly to ones in other sets :o)
With this set the images and the sentiments come all in one (instead of separate sets of images and sentiments) - they'll come in a CD tin for storage as always and for those who aren't familiar with my stamps they're deeply etched red rubber on thin EZmount for use with acrylic blocks.
When I drew this wedding dress image I had an idea in my head of how I wanted to use it. I stamped the dress onto vellum with VersaMark ink then embossed it with detail white embossing powder.
I did this three times, cutting out the layers on the second ones. I adhered the layers of the dress together (I applied glue under the waistband only so that it wouldn't show through the vellum) then added Star Dust Stickles to the "ruffles", waistband and top to make it all sparkly!
I used my oval nestabilities to cut out the pink oval, and the scalloped oval nestabilities to cut the silver mat.
To adhere the dress to the cardstock I applied glue here and there ONLY along the edges where the embossing was so it wouldn't show through.
The flowers are from the wedding section at Michaels - bridal confetti. I colored them with Copics and colored a couple green and cut them up for "leaves".
The sentiment is from the Wedding set - I stamped it in VersaMark and embossed it with Detail White EP.
The patterned paper is by KI Memories - I got this entire wedding style line months and months ago and it was discontinued before I ever used it! I'm glad I never got rid of it tho as it will be perfect to use with this set.
I finished off the inside of the card by lining it with patterned paper, then adding the white CS cut out with Stampin' Up!'s Top Note die.
This sentiment comes in the Wedding Set - I just love how it turned out. I used Silver Encore Ink to stamp it - in real life it's so shimmery - PERFECT for a wedding card.

This card uses my new Love Sentiments set.
This is the one I teased you all with the sneaky sneak peek of the other day! I think y'all are going to LOVE this set - I packed it full with 28 stamps altogether!!
I consider this to be more of a "scrappy" card - the only stamp I used it the "I love you" stamp from the Love Sentiments set - everything else is chipboard, patterned paper, ribbon and embellishments. This is a 5x5" square card.
The heart is a chipboard heart that came in one of the Stampin' Up! chipboard assortments. I traced the heart onto the DoodleBug patterned paper with a pencil, cut out the heart then adhered it to the Chipboard heart with Mono Multi. I sanded the edges till they were smooth then sponged red ink onto the edges.
The sentiment was stamped onto a scrap of white cardstock, then colored in with a couple of Copic markers. I used a Nestability Label die (that it fit perfectly in!) to cut it out, then stapled it to the chipboard heart (I wasn't sure that the staple would even go through but it did like it was nothing!). The Stickles I added to the sentiment was an afterthought - I'm glad I added them tho - they helped to make the sentiment stand out a little more!
I used more DoodleBug patterned paper on the card base matted with pink cardstock. I added a strip of red cardstock then stapled on some DoodleBug ribbon and lace (I LOVE the lace - I want more of it!). The buttons are from my stash and I attached them to the card with some white embroidery thread.
Before I attached the heart I added a couple of Primas to the card then adhered the heart with dimensionals.
The inside of the card is pretty simple - I lined it with DoodleBug patterned paper, then cut out a heart from white CS with my heart nestabilities die and matted it with a pink scalloped heart.
I even finished off the back of the card (sorry for the cruddy picture! This much red is a lot more difficult to keep clear without making the pic a much larger file).
The "I LOVE YOU" barcode stamp comes in the Love Sentiments set - how cool is that? You can use it to finish the back of your card or even on the front as a focal point *grin*.
