Hey Everyone!
Sorry I never got my Friday Sketch posted yesterday. I had planned on making one with my sample and got the call from my sister - I took her to the hospital (driving her there on the highway to the city (over an hour away) on a Friday afternoon with long weekend traffic was interesting let me tell you!!!) and she ended up giving birth last night to a gorgeous baby girl!!!!
I just got home from the hospital (I stayed there overnight with her) so I'm going on about 2 hours of sleep and am completely exhausted. I will upload a pic of the new little girlie (man I got a serious case of baby fever holding her but being in the labour and delivery ward and hearing what some of the other women were going through cleared that up pretty quickly *wink*) once I actually bring in my camera and upload the pictures LOL!

ETA here's a pic of the new baby (she was named Dawson Rose - the Rose is in tribute to our Aunty Roseanne that passed away this past Christmas Day from ovarian cancer):
I took this one this morning. The little monkey already loves sucking on her fingers and has quite the attitude yet sleeps SO well! And TONS of really dark hair that is oh-so-fuzzy....................mmmm that new baby smell!!!!!!!!! Not to mention she weighed in at EXACTLY the same amount my oldest did when she was born (6lbs14oz) - I forgot how tiny that was..........

You can't say she weighed EXACTLY what your oldest child weighed and then not say the amount! ;)

Oh what an adorable sweetheart she is. Love all that hair. Look at those poor little chapped cheeks though. You just want to kiss that chappedness away. My kids took right to sucking on fingers or thumbs right away too. LOL

Being there for your sister was much more important than the Friday sketch. We'll take a pic of a new baby any time over a new card (even though your cards are always beautiful too!).

She is BEAUTIFUL!!! As for the baby fever...I finally figured out (after 4 of my own) that it is much easier to borrow others and then give them back!!! Even tho the Friday sketch may have been missed at least you have your priorities in order!!! Congradulations and enjoy!
