Stamping away in the middle of nowhere...
I am a SAHM to 2 beautiful little girls. We live in a small town in the middle of the Canadian prairies. Suffice to say stamping keeps me sane!!
I was introduced to rubber stamping in the summer of 2004. I didn't think much of it until I got my first set of stamps and started stamping my own cards. It wasn't long before I was hooked!
I started scrapbooking in January of 2005. I was *very* nervous about starting! It just looked too difficult and I was afraid I wouldn't be creative enough to make a good page! My first page was a 6x6 and turned out ok. I stuck w/ the 6x6 size for a while as the 12x12 really intimidated me.
Not long after that I started scrapbooking in earnest, I studied layouts (my biggest challenge) and design, color combos etc., and bought a TON of embellishments! I haven't done a *lot* of pages (around 40 12x12 layouts) but I take my time doing them and enjoy every second!
My goal is to #1 - figure out this blogging thing lol! and #2 - to someday be published in a paper crafting magazine at least once! Wish me luck!!

Updated (Mar 07) - I never realized how far this would come in only 9 months!! I've met one of my goals - to figure out the whole blogging thing *wink* but haven't been published (altho you need to SUBMIT to the mags to get published!! So maybe *THAT* should be my goal!!)
I have however become a Senior member on a Design Team for a new stamp company (GinaK Designs) and I also now do occasional tutorials for Splitcoaststampers.com. In January 2007 I was also the guest Design Team member for MandarinPixie.com.
I now am on the Design Team for PaperTrey INK (headed by Nichole Heady - most of you will know her as the pro-designer on the PaperCrafts Magazine Team) and for AllThatScraps.com.
So life is good, family is great and the blog is going strong!!
Cheers!!!

Updated (August 2008)
A lot of things have changed since my last update - too many to list here!
One of the biggest things is that I have learned how to better organize my time. I also have learned that it is MUCH better (for me) to only be on a select number of teams rather than on every Design Team possible. I am able to dedicate more time and effort to the two teams I am on rather than try to scramble to meet the requirements of several.
I am still on Papertrey's Senior Design Team, and am the Design Team Coordinator and Creative Director for AllThatScraps.com. I LOVE both positions - I work with some fabulous people and great companies!!
In the spring I took a course to become a nail technician and do gel nails out of my home. I have plans on expanding my little "business" (pedicures, manicures, waxing etc etc) in order to support myself and my girls. I don't ever plan on giving up my positions with PTI and ATS - I cut down on my other commitments in order to balance everything else - so we'll see how it all goes!
I love stamping, scrapbooking, organizing, interior design, reading, and curling up to watch a good movie!
